gLog Privacy Policy

gLog is a personal event-logging application for Android. This policy describes what data the app handles and how.

Summary

Event types and logs are stored locally on your device (SQLite).
There is no proprietary backend; we do not collect or sell your log data on our servers.
Google Sign-In is optional, for Sheets sync and spreadsheet picker only.
You can delete data by removing logs or event types in the app.

Data on your device

The app stores event types, log entries, preferences, and reminder settings on your device unless you export (XLSX) or sync to a Google Sheet you control.

Google account

If you sign in with Google, the app may access:

Scope	Purpose
Google Sheets	Read/write the spreadsheet you link, for sync you initiate
Google Drive (metadata)	List spreadsheets so you can pick one; no other Drive file access

Tokens are stored on your device. You can sign out in Settings.

What we do not do

No cloud database for your logs
No selling data for advertising
No automatic background sync without your action

Deletion

Delete data in the app, manage spreadsheet data in Google Sheets, or sign out to clear local Google tokens.

Children

Not directed at children under 13.
